To create awareness about the importance of trees and the need to protect our environment, a Plantation Drive was organised for the students of Grade 3 at the All Souls’ Church Premises on 24th August, 2026
The students actively participated in the plantation activity and were encouraged to plant saplings with care. Through this hands-on experience, they learnt about the importance of trees in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. They also understood that plants provide us with oxygen, help keep the surroundings cool and support life on Earth.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. They were encouraged to take responsibility for the plants they planted and to develop a sense of care and respect towards nature.
Learning Outcomes:
Through this activity, the students learnt about the importance of trees and plants in our lives. They developed awareness about environmental conservation and understood their role in protecting and nurturing nature. This activity also encouraged teamwork, responsibility and love for the environment among the students.
