On 3rd December 2024 a group of 36 students from grade IX and XI escorted by 3 teachers –Ms Divya Roy ,Ms Talat and Ms Shivani Sharma visited Alliance Francaise Library-New Delhi which is a leading Indo –French Cultural centre for French Language and cultural immersion. Students interacted with the Director –Patricia Loison and Deputy Director-Mr Frederie Wolska and the library staff and learnt about the library’s extensive collection of French Literature, films and multimedia resources for advancing their French language proficiency.
Highlighting the visit was the presentation given by grade 11th in French which was highly appreciated by the audience. This was followed by a screening of a critically acclaimed French movie, which offered students an authentic experience of the language in its natural flow. The subtitled film made it accessible and enhanced their listening skills
This visit to Alliance Française provided a unique opportunity to combine learning with cultural appreciation .It not only boosted the students’ confidence in using French but also deepened their understanding of France’s rich artistic and literary heritage.
