A group of class VIII ATL students went to a packaging factory NEWTECH ENGINEERING, KANPUR on 28 th September 2018. It was an enriching experience for the students where they observed the process of packaging various products like Chips, Flour, Spices etc. A small session was taken up for the students by a resource person over there. She explained the working of machines, gear system used in machines. She also explained that the heat required by different type of packets is different. So lot of care is taken to generate that heat so that pouch may not burn or melt but can be sealed very neatly. Students noticed various challenges in the processing and are determined to find solutions in Tinkering Lab.
