Round Square conference “Everyone should be a Feminist” – Sai International School, India and Junior & Senior High School of Kogakuin University, Japan

The Round Square conference this year was hosted by Sai International School, India, and Junior & Senior High School of Kogakuin University, Japan. Them for this year was “Everyone should be a Feminist”

The conference was held virtually on the Zoom platform. Schools from all over the world participated in it. The event started with an address by this year’s Keynote speaker, Katherine Nakabugo; a Science and Mathematics teacher from Kampala, Uganda who has helped many of her students establish businesses and learn valuable skills. Her speech was truly amazing and it encouraged everyone to fight for himself or herself. After her address, we moved into our respective baraza sessions. All the sessions were very well organized.  They had organized fun activities. A series of interactions and a lively debate on feminism kept us all glued to the session. Overall, it was an enriching experience.

The closing ceremony had leaders from different barazas share their experiences and the event concluded with a vote of thanks.

The mentor teachers for the event were Mr. Manish Seksaria (Vice Principal- Senior School and RS Representative) and Mrs. Rinku Pandey.
