Report on Exceptional Student Achievements at the Young Indians Parliament – Kanpur Chapter

We are delighted to report that our school received outstanding recognition at the prestigious Young Indians Parliament (YiP), hosted on 4th–5th July 2025 at Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur. This flagship event was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Young Indians (Yi), with participation from over 200 student delegates representing 16+ leading schools of Kanpur.

Students have been assigned specific constituencies, parties, and committees. They have undergone structured preparation through briefing sessions, quizzes, and opinion contests. During the event, they will engage in bill formation, documentation, debates, and elections, gaining hands-on experience of parliamentary proceedings.

On first day among 200 delegates, Hiya Lamba’s speech impressed the Parliamentary Committee, and owing to her remarkable articulation and leadership potential, she has been selected as the Speaker of the House to lead the Parliament for the next two days.

This two-days immersive experience simulated the workings of the Indian Parliament, empowering students with real-time exposure to legislative debates, policymaking, and democratic processes.
