The award was conferred at the 9th NYC Green School Conference 2025, convened alongside the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and Climate Week NYC at Cornell University, New York, United States.
As a Greening Education Partner (GEP) under the UNESCO-led Greening Education Partnership, Green Mentors has now been authorized by the GEP Secretariat to confer the GEP Green School Badge, accompanied by the Green Mentors logo, to institutions accredited under the Green Mentors Green School program.
