“A festival that celebrates the bond that’s truly timeless and unbreakable. ”

Raksha Bandhan is an auspicious festival which celebrates the never-ending and selfless love between brother and sister. As we know that ‘Raksha’ means protection and ‘Bandhan’ means to tie, so the holy thread tied by a sister on her brother’s wrist is a symbol of love and commitment towards each other.

The day was celebrated by the students of Class II on Friday, 16th August 2024 wherein they engaged themselves in a discussion regarding how they celebrate this festival with their siblings; they made wonderful cards for them with a heart-touching message.

Learning Outcome-

1. The students learnt the reason why the festival is celebrated.

2. The students understood the importance and the true meaning of the knot of love and care which is tied every year on the brothers’ wrist by their sisters.

3. The students realised the value of their siblings and the special bond which they share with each other.
