Under the mentorship of Mr. Manish Seksaria – Head of Department (Computer Science) and Round Square Representative – six students from grade 12 (Radhika Swaroop, Sanya Bhatia, Manya Seth, Aryan Santwani, Anshumaan Tandon and Aditya Tandon) attended the Round Square Postcard organised by the Providence School in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA on the topic “From Crisis to Creation: Life after the Pandemic.” The main focus was the discussion on life after the pandemic through the lenses of the environment and school life. In the first half of the event, the students were split into breakout rooms for stimulating discussions on the effect of COVID-19 on the world after which they returned to the main meeting where the key points of the discussion were summarised. The second breakout session saw the students discussing how the pandemic had affected their schools and the preventive measures taken by the schools to minimise the loss of learning throughout the year. The conference thus ended with all the participants more aware of the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
