A Round Square Event, ‘Our Environment: A Responsible Legacy’’ was hosted by ‘Newcastle Grammar School, Australia’ on 1st June, 2022. Six students of our school (Nayesha Arora, Naisha Maheshwari, Anvi Agarwal, Trivid Agarwal, Prachi Srivastava and Divyana Sethi) participated in the event. The Chief Guest and the keynote speaker for the Event was Ms Cherry Sung, a youth environmental activist from South Korea and a student at Chadwick International School. The session touched upon the topic of “the present environment conditions and how is it impacting us.

It was a very enriching experience where students from different schools globally participated in the event.

The mentor teachers for the event were Ms. Vidhuupriya Rastogi (RS Representative) and Mrs. Ruchi Seth.

LEARNING OUTCOME

• The event left a positive environment legacy for the future.
• It made us aware why is the environment getting polluted and how do they affect us.
• It made the students aware of the power of environment education.
