‘Empowering Minds, Embracing Growth and Enhancing Leadership Skills ‘.Five students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur -Khushi Jain (11 B ), Ahaan Advani (11 D ) Ishanvi Seth (10D) Kushagra Misra (10 C) , Siya Kapoor (10 C) embarked on an enriching journey at the Round Square Conference, hosted by Sarla Birla Academy in Bengaluru from 16th to 19th October to witness the transformative moments as the students delved into holistic learning experiences expanding their knowledge and enhancing their leadership skills.
The students’ experience at Sarala Birla Academy (SBA) in Bengaluru can be described as trulyunforgettable from the moment they arrived until the final day, they were filled with excitement. On 16th October the students were warmly welcomed in the SBA campus. Campus tour was organised in the early morning of 17th October amidst the lush greenery and serenity of SBA.
The conference was declared open after hosting the flags of 13 participating school from all over India. Students were then escorted to different rooms for the Barazza Sessions .During the Barazza session, participants had the opportunity to showcase their oratory skills and engage in meaningful discussions about their qualities and perspectives. This platform provided a chance for self-expression and personal growth. The Barazza session was then followed by an art activity –Mosaic activity wherein the students learnt to collaborate while creating a mosaic replica of the school.
The next day began with an invigorating early morning trek, challenging them both physically and mentally. The outbound activities that followed emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, coordination, and discipline. Engaging in icebreaking activities and building strong teams helped them stretch their boundaries and form lasting bonds.
In the evening, they were captivated by an epic and mesmerizing folk dance performance that showcased the region’s cultural richness and left them in awe. The Principal’s dinner was a delightful experience, featuring majestic food and engaging conversations.
Throughout the conference, the students had the opportunity to make new friends and learn together. It was a transformative experience that broadened their understanding of different cultures and the world around them.
The Round Square Conference taught them the importance of effective leadership through engaging activities, discussions, and observing inspiring leaders. It emphasized the value of communication, collaboration, and empathy in becoming a strong and influential leader.
