It was a red-letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years for the Indians to break the shackles of slavery. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur celebrated the 76th Independence Day on 15 August ,2023 with great zeal and fervour. The traditional hoisting of the National Flag was conducted in the school by the dignitaries. The flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest, Prof. Nalinaksh Vyas and Principal, Mrs. Shikha Banerjee. The patriotic song was sung by the school choir which filled the audience with patriotism.
The cultural programme related to the Varsha Mangal Utsav was spellbinding. The dance performance by the students added to the celebration. Tree plantation drive was taken up by the Chief Guest and the Leadership Team Members. The Head Boy, the Head Girl, Associate Head Boy and Head Girl enlightened the audience with their thoughts on the great sacrifice of the martyrs and sustainable goals. The tricolour fluttered proudly in the lush green campus of Jaipuria School. The celebration was graced by the presence of Vice Principal- Senior- Mr. Ganesh Tiwari, Vice Principal- Junior- Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik, Headmaster- Mr. M.K. Mishra and DGM- Mr. Shailendra Agnihotri.
The celebration concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal (Junior School) Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik.
