Independence Day

“Let’s salute the nation”
“India, where every heart beats with pride!”

Independence Day is celebrated every year on 15th August to know the value of freedom and celebrate it. This day reminds us that the freedom was not obtained at once, it was achieved at a considerable price which was paid by our freedom fighters through their sacrifice.

The day was celebrated by the students of Class II on Wednesday,14th August 2024 wherein the students took part in a very informative and emotional discussion regarding Independence Day. They made beautiful fans using the tricolours of our Indian National Flag along with the mighty Ashoka Chakra. The saffron colour indicated strength and courage of the country, white colour indicated peace and truth, green colour indicated fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land and the Ashoka Chakra indicated that there is life in movement and death in stagnation.

Learning Outcome-

1. The students learnt that the tricolours of our national flag come along with Ashoka Chakra, makes our country and our National Flag beautiful, similarly when all the Indians come together they make our country and the society beautiful.

2. The students learnt about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and realised the value of the nation and its freedom.
