“YATRA”

What children need most are the essentials that Grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humour, comfort & lessons in life. A child needs Grandparents to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world.

With its strong belief in the overall and holistic development of the child and to honour our loving Grandparents Seth Anandram Jaipuria School,Pre-primary section celebrated Grandparents Day Yatra on 30th September 2023.

The event commenced by welcoming the Grandparents with a melodious welcome song sung by the tiny tots.Then the little ones and beloved Grandparents dedicated sweet jingles and a short skit followed by the dance performances dedicated to the great cities of Uttar Pradesh and also presented the famous and historical facts in a very captivating manner which was nostalgic for the Grandparents.

Appropriate music and enthusiastic Grandparents – Grandchild combination made this event a runaway hit with all those witnessing it.

The Chief Guest for the day Prof. Samsher (Vice Chancellor of HBTU) addressed the audience and asserted the importance of having elderly people around us.

The event beheld the gracious presence of the Principal, Mrs.Shikha Banerjee Vice Principal (senior) Mr. Ganesh Tiwari Vice Principal (junior) Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik Headmaster Mr. Mahesh Kumar Mishra & GM Mr.Shailendra Agnihotri.

The icing on the cake was the awesome performance by the tiny tots which had everyone glued to their seats and see the innocent faces expressing their heartfelt gratitude for all the love they receive from their Grandparents.

The Principal’s emotional address left everyone speechless.

It was a successful event indeed and culminated with the vote of thanks ushered by Vice Principal, Mrs Madhushree Bhaumik followed by the National Anthem.

The School, as always would be pleased to organize many such more events.
