“Let’s pledge to walk the path of non-violence, just as Bapu did.”
On 1st October 2024, our young Jaipurians of Class II pledged to follow the path of non-violence, peace and kindness. They participated actively in a discussion regarding why do we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti and the reason behind celebrating this day as International Non-Violence Day. They also enhanced their knowledge about another freedom fighter who shares his birthday with The Father Of Our Nation (Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi), and he is none other than Pandit Lal Bahadur Shastri. He was the second Prime Minister of our Country, India. The students not only pledged verbally, but they also wrote down the pledge and learnt the true meaning of the quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”, in the form of a very creative worksheet.
Learning Outcome-
- The students enhanced their knowledge regarding Gandhi Jayanti.
- The students learned more about Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Lal Bahadur Shastri.
- The students realized the importance of following the path of non-violence.
