Breathing and Yoga Session for Teachers

A few minutes of Yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily, in both, body and mind. With this aim in mind, our school organised a short Breathing and Yoga Session for the teachers on 1 April 2023. The Resource person, Mr. Vasant, the Yoga Instructor of our school, took the session with great dedication. He introduced various forms of asanas that can be performed easily for a healthy mind and body.

The session began with the breathing exercise followed by Asanas for relieving stress and improving strength and mental well-being of the teachers.

The Vice Principal, Mr. Shadeep Adhikari motivated the staff and conveyed the importance of making yoga an integral part of our life. He also encouraged the teachers to motivate our students for Yoga and make them understand its importance.

The session concluded with an interactive session between the instructor and the teachers in which the queries of the teachers were addressed satisfactorily. The session was extremely refreshing, reviving and relaxing.
