“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”

Students from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, participated in the 1^ST Inter Jaipuria Sports Championship ‘ATHLETICA-2024’ . The championship was organised by Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Schools  from 9^th November 2024 at Guru Govind Singh Sports College,Kursi Road, Lucknow. Padma Shri Anju Bobby George, India’s renowned athlete, honoured the event as Chief Guest, alongside Mr. Harish Sanduja, Director of Schools & IT, as Guest of Honour. The grand event had over 410 students from various Jaipuria schools competed passionately across disciplines. This celebration of talent, teamwork, and excellence highlights the Jaipuria Group’s commitment to holistic education and sports integration.

 Following is the list of students and their achievements-

1. Badminton

1. Under- 14 Girls Category: Riana Jain Class VI C won the Gold Medal in Singles.
2.  Under- 17 Girls Category: Indra Shukla  Class X C secured the Gold Medal in Singles.
3.  Under- 17 Boys Category: Shlok Agarwal  Class XI D secured the Silver Medal in Singles.

2. Table Tennis

1. Under-14  Boys category:  Devang Somani  secured the 3^rd Position.
2. Under-14  Girls category:  Shanaya Bhatia won the 3^rd Position.
3. Under-17  Boys category:  Avi Gupta  secured the 3^rd Position.
4.  Under-17  Girls category:  Divyanshi Gupta  won the 3^rd Position.

3. Chess

1. Saunak Mandal under 17 category secured the Silver Medal .

4. Athletics

1. Under-12  Girls category:  Aditi Verma secured the Gold Medal in 80 metre Race.
2.  Under-14  Girls category:  Sona Naikani achieved the Silver Medal in 200 metre Race and the Gold Medal in Long Jump.
3.  Krisha Arora  bagged the Silver Medal in  400 metre Race.
4.  Under-14 category: Anushka Sharma  won  the Gold Medal in Shotput Throw.
5.  Under-14 Girls category: Aditi Verma, Sona Naikani, Krisha Arora and Maham Zehra bagged the Silver Medal in 4 X 100 mt Relay Race.

The girls won the Overall Winner Trophy.

1. Under-14  Boys category: Mohd.Ayaan  achieved the Silver Medal in 200 metre Race and the Gold Medal in Long Jump.
2.  Under-14 Boys category: Mohd. Ayaan, Aryaveer, Atharva Shukla and Aryan Singh Chandel bagged the Silver Medal in 4 X 100 mt Relay Race.
3. Under-17  Boys category: Arib Rehman won the Silver Medal in 100 metre Race and Karshneeya Gulati bagged  the Silver Medal in 200 metre Race.

Rahim Hassan  won  the Silver Medal in Shotput Throw.

Adit Singh Chauhan  bagged the Gold Medal in 110 metre Hurdles Race.

Under-17  Girls category:

1. Zehra Arshad  achieved the Gold Medal in 100 metre Race and  the Bronze Medal in 100 metre Hurdles Race.
2. Anvita Dixit  bagged  the Silver Medal in 200 metre Race.
3. Siddhi Gupta  secured the Gold Medal in 400 metre Race.
4. Kritika Jain  won  the Silver Medal in Shotput Throw.
5. Anvita Dixit, Zehra Arshad, Nandika Devnani and Aashni Khandelwal bagged the Silver Medal in 4 X 100 mt Relay Race.

The success of our students in the ATHLETICA-2024 Championship is a testament to their hard work and the support from their teachers, coaches and the Jaipuria Group. We look forward to seeing our students continue to thrive in sports, upholding the values of teamwork, intelligence, and perseverance.
